Who Is This For?
Busy Professionals
Parents
Adults 40+
Former Athletes
Anyone Training Around Injuries
Anyone Tired of Fitness Extremes
And let’s face it: most people fall into several of those categories. I’m a busy professional who is a 40+ father and a former athlete, so I feel you! I’m one of you.
My approach is centered around training to support your life, and not centering your life around training.
If you’re tired of feeling like you don’t have enough time to take care of your health, or that you have to commit countless hours to the gym to see progress, I’m the coach for you.
What Can You Expect?
First and foremost, I don’t do quick fixes. So if you’re someone looking to take part in a 90-day challenge, to engage in some sort of rapid weight-loss scheme, or any other manner of short-term initiatives, I’m probably not the coach for you.
I only care about long-term, sustainable results.
That being said, I’ve coached folks to any number of the following outcomes, based on what they were looking for:
Improved strength and body composition
Improved cardiorespiratory function
Mobility & injury reduction and/or resilience to injury
Longevity & improved quality of life
Who Am I?
My name is Mike Minium. I started coaching in the health and fitness space in 2003, and I opened one of the first 20 CrossFit gyms in the world, CrossFit Oakland, back in 2005.
After 20+ years of coaching everyone from elite athletes to adults recovering from surgeries to folks dealing with chronic health issues, I’ve shifted my focus toward highly individualized coaching for adults who want sustainable strength, mobility, and longevity.
